Alexander Van Heeren served as the Honorary Consul of New Zealand in Belgium and of Holland in New Zealand.

 

He participated in the Consulting Council of Roosevelt Stitching, a private foundation established in 1982 to organize the Four Freedoms Awards Ceremony in Middelburg, Holland, in conjunction with the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institution in Hyde Park, New York.

 

He was member of the Consulting Council of the University of Stellenbosch Business School in South Africa.

He is the CEO of Huka Lodge and Dolphin Island.
